Greetings and welcome to my private practice website! My name is Dr. Christopher Lucies, and feel free to refer to me as, "Dr. C." I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S), and a National Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Hypnotherapy (NBCDCH). My practice is located in the historic and beautiful city of San Antonio, Texas.
Both my doctorate and master degrees are in counseling psychology. I offer "Therapy from Within". Since 1986, I have helped others work though issues of abuse, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, panic attacks and PTSD.
As a licensed clinician and clinical hypnotherapist, I integrate psychotherapy and clinical hypnosis to help you identify and work through your pain and embrace a healthier you. It is possible for you to move beyond your current circumstances.
As a seasoned therapist, and as a former university professor, I practice what I teach. A successful therapist is one who is fully present, emotionally healthy, creative, and possess the knowledge and skills to help others. I offer a safe, non-judgmental and a nurturing therapeutic relationship.
